Our Leadership Team

Stephen & Diane Sumrall

Founders

Stephen and Diane Sumrall founded Provident Ministries, Feeding The Nations, Sumrall Ministries, and Christ Chapel Church in 2005.

Steve went home to be with the Lord on January 6, 2026, and heard the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” He fought the good fight and finished his race. He served the Lord faithfully and remained steadfast in his calling. He loved God, and he loved people. His desire was to make Jesus known and to help as many people as possible.

Pastor Steve was faithful—to his Savior, his family, his church, and to the mission and calling God placed on his life. He considered it an honor and a privilege to bring both the hope of Christ and life-saving food to the lost and hurting around the world.

Pastor Diane, and the staff of Feeding The Nations are fully committed to carrying forward the work he began and remaining faithful to the calling God entrusted to him and to this ministry. “We will continue to go into all the world, just as the Lord has called us to do.”
