ZAMBIA PROJECT 2010
Zambia has 1 million to 1.2 million orphans-nearly 10 percent of the nation's
population. Around 50 percent of all households care for one or more orphans, but with two-thirds of the nation's people making just a dollar a day in wages, this puts a great strain on families. Zambia also has a life expectancy of just 37 years of age. As the country faces bleak circumstances and disturbing statistics, Feeding The Nations (FTN) has taken action and is committed to doing even more.
Located in South Central Africa, Zambia is land-locked by six nations and has a population of 12 million people. In four
decades of independence, Zambia has found peace, but not
prosperity. Today it is one of the poorest and least developed nations on earth.
FTN has seen the need firsthand during the teams 2006 and 2008 mission trips to Zambia. With your help, we will continue to assist the 17 orphanages and Christian schools with approximately 5,000 children that we have supported with
food and Bibles since 2006.
Feeding The Nations is committed to help through 2010 by providing specially formulated meal packages specifically developed for malnourished children with no daily intake of essential vitamins and minerals.

Will you consider helping the hurting and hungry children of Zambia? With your donation Feeding The Nations can provide the following:
$ 50.00 will provide 2,000 meals
$100.00 will provide 4,000 meals
$150.00 will provide 6,000 meals
$250.00 will provide 10,000 meals
Since 2006 FTN has given a total of 650,000 pounds (325 tons) of food, Bibles and supplies worth 6 million dollars.
Please join us as we reach this nation with the love of Christ. Let us together bring hope and joy to the children of Zambia.
