ns, but with two-thirds of the nation's people making just a dollar a day in wages, this puts a great strain on families. Zambia also has a life expectancy of just 37 years of age. As the country faces bleak circumstances and disturbing statistics, Feeding The Nations (FTN) has taken action and is committed to doing even more in 2008.
Located in South Central Africa, Zambia is land-locked by six nations and has a population of 11.9 million people. In four decades of independence, Zambia has found peace, but not prosperity. Today it is one of the poorest and least developed nations on earth.

your help, we will continue to assist the 15 orphanages and Christian schools that we supported with food and Bibles in 2006 and 2007. In the past two years, we provided dried vegetable soup, dehydrated nectarines and peaches, cereal, new clothes, toothpaste, shampoo, body wash, lotion, vitamins, and specially formulated meal packages specifically developed for malnourished children with no daily intake of essential vitamins and minerals.
You can help FTN provide six orphans with three meals a day for three months for only five cents per meal, totaling just ninety cents per day. For only $81.00, you can provide 1,620 meals over the three-month period.
In addition FTN would like to give Bibles to the children in the orphanages. One high .jpg)
quality complete King James Version Bible will be provided for every six children for the cost of $5.00 per Bible. Your total gift of $86.00 can provide six children with three meals a day for three months, and a Bible to help change lives.
With your help in 2006 Feeding The Nations provided 1.4 million dollars in assistance and in 2007 1.6 million dollars for Zambia alone.
FTN set the goal for 2008 at $2 million, wanting to give more orphans the opportunity to be nourished and cherished through the love of Christ.
