Feeding The Nations® Adopts 200 Israeli Families

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Feeding The Nations (FTN), a South Bend-based non-profit, has once again teamed with the Jerusalem-based Christian organization, Bridges for Peace, to bless 200 Israeli families with supplemental food for the entire year. Families from the towns of Beit Shemesh, Kiryat Ata, Mazkeret Batya and Yazniel will receive the provisions.

"We take seriously the opportunity to bless these Israeli families. It is a great privilege and responsibility of our faith," said Steve Sumrall, president of FTN. "But we can't do this alone. So many generous people have joined with us to make this possible. We thank them for all they have given, so that together we can bless these 200 families."

FTN adopted 200 families in 2007, supplying them with much-needed supplemental nutrition for the entire year. It will adopt 200 different families in four cities for 2008. The cities receiving the supplements struggle with development and the absorption of new immigrants, making economic progress difficult to achieve. Those wishing to contribute can do so at www.FeedingTheNations.org.
